I wouldn't use something sticky with rubber infill turf because the pellets could end up stuck to his feet - and, with enough of them, the traction would be worse. Or at least just uncomfortable. Also, as an aside, I'd be pretty annoyed if someone used sticky stuff on my turf - it's not like you can mop it. In the case of mats, some of the sticky sprays and cleaners can harm the floor surface and make them more slippery.
