Merry Stinkin' Christmas

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas day, and give your dogs an extra hug!

My mom is at the emergency vet with Maxie right now, poor girl. She hasn't gone to the bathroom since Sunday, and is just feeling awful. I won't go into details because well, they aren't pleasant, but hopefully the vets can help her out. We went yesterday as well; thought everything was cleared up but she was worse this morning.

Needless to say this is really going to hit us bad financially, especially since Maxie already has to have surgery in January to remove a (hopefully) benign tumor from her chest and a few months ago Toby got a foxtail in his paw and nearly died. Ah, emergencies. Thankfully Panic hasn't hit us with any thus far.

With all this going on it doesn't mean that we still can't get a bit of enjoyment out of Christmas, even if it is at the expense of Panic's pride!

Looks like I just got finished beating him, huh? So abusive am I.

Anyway, have a wonderful holiday and hug your dog for Maxie tonight. :[
