Just purchased these Zem shoes online. They are called Ninja Low Zems. Pretty sweet.

I hope I like them. I've been rolling the idea of Vibrams around in my head for awhile. I love going barefoot and do so a lot, but sometimes being barefoot is just not a smart idea ;) (Not that I've REALLY learned that lesson yet.)
But then I came across Zems. I remember seeing someone at USDAA Nats that had them, I thought she was wearing socks! After doing some research I decided these were what I wanted. For one they are a LOT cheaper than Vibrams, apparently hold up pretty well (unless you run a lot on pavement) feel more like being barefoot than Vibrams, and honestly I just think they look cooler. I can't get over how bizarre the Vibrams look, I really can't!
I've never gotten any shoes without trying them on first, but there's no one around here that sells them. Fingers crossed I like them, they should be in later this week.
