Here we go again
Aug. 3rd, 2011 08:00 pmAs I'm preparing to leave for NC Regionals, I've gone back a reread my post after NE Regionals several times.
Leaving early tomorrow morning and spending the afternoon in Chicago. I've never been so that should be pretty interesting. Hopefully we'll find some cool dog friendly places to go.
I'm really looking forward to it as I'm actually going to know a ton of people there including several close friends. NE Regionals was cool in the fact that I DIDN'T know anyone there (aside from Rita). It was kind of foreign and exciting. But this will be a little more familiar but still competitive and fun, I am looking forward to it.
I am going with my dad to this one.
My dad does not exactly understand the whole dog thing. He likes animals but is definitely more of a cat person. He is 100% supportive of everything I do but just doesn't quite "get" this. I asked him to go with me for my birthday, which is this Sunday (19, my last year as a teenager!) I am hoping this trip will help (or force him) to understand it a bit more. I know agility is often a difficult thing for people to wrap their minds around.
