End of Superstardom
Aug. 23rd, 2011 03:32 pmSunday ended Panic and I's stint into superstardom at the Kentucky State Fair. Three and a half days of doing that show was absolutely exhausting, I can't imagine doing all ten! It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to be a part of it. What I didn't mention previously was that along with Panic, I got to handle one of Lou's dogs, Barney. He was a crazy thing and a lot of fun to work with and get to know. Labs are so...enthusiastic. With little regard for their own safety.

Panic and I along with the our companion dogs that were part of the weave show (minus Barney and plus the token black and white Panic lookalike, Hustle) got to walk around the fair a lot and look at awesome things that people made including delicious looking pies, cakes and cookies that will never be eaten (what a tragedy!) The dogs were very interested in the food exhibits in particular...well that and the livestock.

The worst part about walking around with four dogs while wearing your shirt from the show you are in is that people stop you literally every few steps to talk to you and pet the dogs. But I will admit it was kind of cool when a man came up to us and said "Hey, it's Panic! From the show!" and started to fawn over him. My dog was contextually famous for a few days!
The Weave Pole dogs (again minus Barney and plus Hustle, who wasn't in the show)From left to right, Hustle, Moxie, Sally, and Panic.
