2012 So Far
Jul. 8th, 2012 05:36 pmAt the start of this year I predicted that 2012 would be a year of uncertainty and a year of adventures. Somehow 2012 is already more than halfway through--how did that happen? So much has changed since January. There is still a lot of uncertainty in my life, but things are already a lot more concrete, at least in some respects--I know, for example, where I will be spending the next four years of my life. As for the adventures, I have definitely had a few and am embarking on many more throughout this year.
In two days we leave for Perry, GA. I've never been there and have never been further south than Tennessee for a show. Definitely going to be an adventure--8 hours from home and a whole new crowd of people. I've heard it is a fantastic show.
At the beginning of August we're going to NC Regionals for the second year in a row. I decided to enter it slightly on a whim and I am so glad I did. Regionals is an extremely fun event, lots of fantastic people will be there, and we somehow ended up on an amazing team with Melanie and Smitten and Lisa Ross and Cool. It will definitely be a blast.
And then just two weeks after that I leave for school. Although that is a concrete detail rather than an uncertainty, so much uncertainty still surrounds it--but I know it will definitely be the start of my biggest adventure yet.
This is the focal point of the College of Wooster. It is a beautiful place.
