Panic was pretty much awesome; we got 4/8 Qs, 2 titles, 3 first places and one second place. We're finally in Open in everything now, and man am I glad! I really think Panic is starting to mature and really get into the game. We only had one insane off the wall run all weekend, Sunday's Open Standard. Man was he wired! But in all honesty I kind of like those runs; they keep me from thinking that he's experienced and perfect just because he does well in most runs. Plus they make me laugh. And probably other people, too. The dogwalk in that run was atrocious, but so was pretty much everything else so I'm not too concerned! The other two DWs for the weekend were very nice, albeit not very fast, but I think he just needs to gain some confidence. Sunday's Open JWW was very very nice, I couldn't believe we Qed first time in Open! Didn't get that Standard Q I hoped for, but he more than made up for it.
I did feel like Panic was kind of slow this weekend. Maybe he was trying not to slip on the floor, which he did a little last time at this show. But he just didn't seem as fast. Hmm. But consistency before speed, right? Or speed and then consistency? Or both at the same time? We'll see. Here's the video.
My mom also ran Toby in Novice JWW Sunday--Man was he MOVIN'! Oh it was an awesome run, I wish I had gotten it on film. He knocked one bar but he was so happy doing it!
