Team:

Aside from relay, Panic did well in team. For the first time ever we actually got all the way through Team Snooker. Standard was not great (the start of his "blast into space" mindset) but we got through it.

Grand Prix Rnd 1:

Also nice, and our last chance to pick up a second GP Q for Nationals. I didn't care all that much about getting it but I'm glad we did. We don't typically do well in Grand Prix.

I think Panic and I do pretty well on international style courses, probably because I enjoy them a lot more. I mean these runs aren't perfect, but they have a lot of nice moments and I'm glad we've been able to handle the challenges.

I don't think Panic is really very comfortable on turf of any kind (although this turf was very nice). He does a whole lot better on dirt and grass (maybe because we train on dirt and grass? hm...) He just seems a little more cautious to me, which isn't terrible.

I was looking around for you but I think you were in a different group? These runs are lovely. I'm pretty sure I spotted your dad, he was hanging out faithfully at ringside with the camcorder :)

Really nice runs! Congrats again on getting the second GP Q for Nationals. HOWEVER, I am still offended for Panic that you called him a stupid butthead on FB :( I thought he looked really good on the turf in a lot of the runs. The brown turf in the baseball/softball ring looked weird - that would have thrown me off for sure :)

p.s. I think Axl's brain would have imploded if I had sent him through 5 straight tunnels like you did with Panic in Team Gamblers!!! I shudder at the thought...

Lots of lovely in those runs! Vic's does the same thing on a new surface.

I meant stupid butt head in the friendliest of terms :P He is a GOOD boy, I just get a bit annoyed when he gets into his "Oh a tunnel I'll blast off into it even though you are clearly nowhere near it!" mode. It is so easy to project human emotions on our dogs but I know he doesn't know better, he's just having fun ;) Three days of intense agility is a whole lot for him and for me! The five tunnels was a lot, he didn't even get points for the last one but I just forgot how many times I had done them so just kept going! ha ha.

The colors and lines on the turf were a bit distracting. Interestingly one of my friends has a dog with (suspected) ETS and she seemed to have WAY more trouble when a jump was intersecting or paralel with one of the lines on the ground.

I think so! I'm not sure he exactly enjoyed it but he was very patient and really tried to "get it". I'm proud of him! ;)

I was in B. I think there were probably a TON of people there that I never saw because I was always just with my group! That's the problem with a big show like Regionals! My dad was incredibly patient all weekend, 10 hour days have got to be hard when you aren't doing anything all day!
