Trying

I arrived in Wooster Saturday afternoon to kick off my second year here. I did have the misfortune of locking my keys in my trunk as I was unpacking (my trunk button in the cabin doesn't work), so some of my things are locked in there until further notice. Luckily it is nothing too important.

Before leaving I did some photo sessions out at Shamrock, where I take/teach classes whenever I'm home. I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile, mainly because I love taking pictures of dogs and don't seem to have the opportunity to that often (besides of my own, of course) but I also really wanted the experience of having to take and edit a lot of photos. I got the photo editing program Adobe Lightroom not too long ago. It is awesome but also very complicated so it's been quite the learning experience. That's why all my photos lately have likely looked weird and maybe overly edited. I'm trying.

I *love* these. Lightroom is fun, isn't it? I love your photographic eye.

Best of luck at school!

Yes, very very fun! I feel like it does so much more than I realize. I've been having a lot of fun playing around with it. Good luck to you as well!

Processing is fun, free your inner processor.

There's an endless number of things I can do with a photo, sometimes I just can't stop.

Good photos and they don't look over processed to me. The colors still look right.

Thanks!

Nice pics, don't look overprocessed to me either. Linda Coates was my very first obedience instructor, learned so much from her.

Seriously?! Small world! She was my first instructor too, started with her in obedience when I was nine.

My fav is the rottie with the orange shoes. Great color combos.
