I'm doing alright, thanks for asking. As I've said before though, this just isn't my semester and I'm just counting the weeks until it's over. Example: Last week I had a cardboard sculpture due. The night before the due date I was in the studio around 10pm putting some final touches on it when the entire thing just falls apart. A sculpture I had been working on for almost two weeks. I was in the studio until 4am before I gave up and decided to just turn in what I had, which was total crap. But at least I turned in something.

Of course things aren't all that bad. Example: check out how cute this squirrel is. We have black squirrels at Wooster, none in Louisville though. Do you guys have black squirrels?

In the last few weeks the trees here have finally seems to burst into color. Fall is my favorite season and I happen to think fall in the Midwest is probably the prettiest, although of course I've never lived anywhere else.

Monday nights there are some people from the community that come hang out in our main building with their dogs so people pining for their own pets can get a reprieve. I met a guy there last week with a border collie that does agility. We were both extremely excited to have met one another, and I hope I get to talk to him more. I think the BC's name was Zinger. He had eyes just like Panic and sat in my lap.

Ok, I hate squirrels... mostly because of how Razor reacts to them, but even I have to say that's a super cute squirrel.

We do have "red-ish" ones, but they're not cute like that.
Ours all look pissed off, like this guy:

I'm really sorry about your cardboard project. First, way cool to make something of cardboard! But I've done that with food before too. Worked all damn day on a meal or dessert, and had it fall to shit. KILLS me! I hope you get a grade for "effort"

You and Allison (my daughter) just told me the EXACT same thing within a week of eachother! Cracks me up. She told me how residents of her college town who walk their dogs on campus (and a lot do) are always accosted ! Due to kids missing their pets so much. She was over the moon to see Razor and Rumble (mostly Razor hehehe) And he was beside himself happy to see her too. That high-pitched bark is unmistakable. Means "OH GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!" hahahah.

Your fall pictures are amazing. Unreal... really

hugs.

Panic isn't a big squirrel chaser which is nice. I've never paid too much attention to squirrels until I came here where they are everywhere and not shy of people. Since I had pet rats for so long I think that makes me like them even more.

Yeah, cardboard is definitely not my medium, and it was very difficult for me to make it stable with what I had to make, which was actually completely dictated by another student (that was the premise of the project).

Zinger is a really good name. ;) Black squirrels are so cute! I've never seen one.

It really sucks that the semester isn't going as planned. :(

It is a good name! I hadn't ever seen a black squirrel either until I came here, I find them so novel.

My semester isn't great but it still has it's wonderful points. Sometimes it's easier to focus on the negative but there are a ton of positives as well, so I try very hard to focus on those.

More like a retired older gentleman, which I think it more acceptable.

I'm listening to Mariee Sioux Pandora station and for some reason I thought of you;) I had to look back to find this black squirrel post, so cute. We do not have those here. When I was in college up in Seattle many years ago, we had pink, blue, purple, and red squirrels. Someone took the time to trap, drug, and dye them all different colors. There were MANY of them, quite the sight.

I too love fall, a great time of year.

Oh my gosh that is HILARIOUS. I'm a little sad (but also happy for the squirrel's sake) that that hasn't happened here.
