I'm actually really trying to enter a show in December.

All the AKC shows around me do a random draw. I never seem to make it through that draw, and I don't want to have to go more than 2 or so hours trying to find a show. If I even wanted to attempt to qualify for AKC nationals I don't even see how I'd get into enough shows without going ridiculously far away. But seriously those requirements...

Money money money.

Yeah there's that I guess. I would love to maybe attend Nationals again one day, but I'm not going to waste my money chasing the requirements when I could do other things. I'm at a loss of where to go as a competitor (although admittedly not an avid one at the moment). I think it's particularly sad for all the juniors and college aged competitors.
