Drawings!

I'm making a real effort to document things I make now. It's sort of an important thing, I suppose.

Here's my first comissioned dog drawing, a goldendoodle named Boomer who sadly passed away this past winter.



And here's a drawing I did of Panic for practice. I don't like to draw my own dogs because I'm never quite satisfied with the results, but I gave it a shot anyway.

I've been having a lot of fun with it and I'm hoping that I will improve and develop over the course of this endeavor. I still don't quite know what to do with the background of these drawings, but I decided to try some swirly stuff out on these guys.

Thanks Tammy! Yeah I think I missed out by deciding to do this right after Christmas, but I'm hoping that in the meantime I can slowly gain some experience/build up a portfolio so I'd be ready for a potentially busier period of time !

Love these! Very cool! How would I---if I commissioned one of Razzle---get the image also put onto a car magnet for my daughter??? Any ideas? We've been looking and we see lots of BC car magnets but none look like Razz... Your images are strong and would look great at a distance too on the road.
hmmm I'm going to research this a little. Bronagh's birthday is in May, so maybe I can shoot for that?

Yes that would work! I could send you the original as well as a hi-res scan of the drawing and you could get it put on anything you want.

awesome! so I need to send you a photo of Razzle? Same pose as Panic? We don't have any jumping pictures of him as he is not jumping yet... which would have been cool...

You can send me any pictures just so I can get a good sense of his color/body type and then I can pretty much do any pose off of that. I don't typically directly reference photos to draw off of.
