It is a process
Apr. 10th, 2012 07:06 pmToday I said goodbye to every agility ribbon I've ever gotten. I packed them in a box and shipped them off to this awesome organization. . They were only taking up space. With electronic record keeping and videos of all my runs, ribbons just don't have a whole lot of meaning for me anymore.
I also donated a huge amount of clothing (oh how I love clothes!) and recycled a ton of papers I was holding onto from high school.
Yep, it feels good, but it is a process. I had to look at every single ribbon and piece of clothing and EVERY piece of paper before decided whether to keep it or not. It really isn't about mindlessly throwing things out like I thought it would be, its about letting things go one by one. It is definitely a tiring process.
