More stuff
Apr. 14th, 2012 07:19 pmStill slowly getting rid of things. I'm really glad I haven't lost my drive to have less. I am realizing that I don't actually have a whole lot of stuff, but it is still mostly stuff that I don't need or even want! It is still a very slow process. I parted ways with all my Clean Runs the other day. I never go back and read them. I gave them away and I know they will be read and put to good use now.
There are things I will never ever let go of. Letters, for example. Letters are very important to me. I suppose that is why I enjoy sending them so much. I have books I will never ever part with. I do have seemingly random pieces of paper that I want to hold on to. Oh and of course my Lion King things. Never will those go. Don't think I've ever mentioned this in here, but that movie? Such an important part of my life and who I am. Yep, I consider a Disney cartoon an integral part of my life.

On the more relevant side of things, we've been doing a lot of agility lately. Been practicing some international stuff which is a lot of fun. Panic and I are really in sync and I'm trying hard to focus on running him in the way that is best and most efficient for him, even if it doesn't seem all that logical or traditional. I definitely need to think outside the box, my own box. This is particularly important on the often twisty international courses. Panic is NOT a bendable dog (he's no Freddie Mercury!). I want to minimize the bending and wrapping and twisting as much as I can so everything can be a lot smoother for him. And I always need to keep moving. Always. Panic does not run if I don't run! I think I'll actually try to get some video of our training. Seems helpful.
Oh yeah, we sent in our Tryouts entry this week. Eeek!
