This upcoming week will be an interesting one, interesting enough that I felt it was worth laying out here.
On Tuesday I get to participate in a Karen Holik seminar here in Louisville. I haven't participated in very many seminars (and none with Panic!). They just don't happen here very often. I am really looking forward to it. From my very brief interaction with Karen at tryouts, she seems like super nice and fun person and I have always loved to watch her run. I've really never heard anything but great things about her.
On Wednesday I get an EKG. I am nervous about it just because it seems like sort of a big deal, but it really isn't. I'm getting it to check on a mild heart murmur that I've had all my life. Like I said, shouldn't be a big deal at all, just a good idea to get thoroughly checked out since I'll be doing cross country at school.
Thursday morning I head up to school for an academic advising and registration event. Meaning, I'll be signing up for my classes and all that stuff. Cool! But also, scary!
That lasts until Friday afternoon. As soon as I get home from that I turn around and head to Indianapolis for an AKC show. The show is Friday-Sunday, and since I can't be there Friday in time a friend of mine is taking Panic up and running him that day for me. I'm sort of nervous about how he will do traveling without me, but I think it will be good for him and that he will have some fun with her.
