Panic's fanmail
A couple weeks ago I went with a few other people at my training center to do an agility demo at a school. It was so much fun, the kids LOVED Panic and he had a great time meeting all of them and getting to show off. It is interesting that when he is in a "working" setting (such as doing agility or therapy work) he LOVES getting smothered in attention. But outside of those sorts of settings, like if we were just out for a walk, he isn't particularly friendly and does not like kids AT ALL. I do love being able to do things like this with him, and I have to admit I teared up when I received a stack of letters from the kids addressed to Panic. A lot of the kids at this particular school had never been around dogs. Some were extremely tentative, but warmed up by the end. I love doing agility, but being able to do stuff like this just makes it so much more worthwhile!
