Hmm, should I go to Perry Regionals and miss my graduation and a local AKC trial, or Northeastern Regionals the next weekend, wherever they'll be in Pennsylvania?
I am having such a hard time deciding the same thing. NE Regionals will be outdoors, so you might be stuck competing (or choosing not to compete) in intense heat or rain/mud. The Perry site looks perfect but is very far (for me).
Regarding graduation, I don't get much from ceremonies like that and the graduation ceremony itself is not part of my memories of high school (or college or law school).
NE is outdoors?! That actually might make my decision easier--I LOVE running outside, rain, shine, heat, mud, whatever...Love it! I do have some more time to decide, and it'll also have to do with who else is going to each one, especially if some local people are going to one or the other (in any case I'd love to team with you and Axl if we end up at the same one!)
