So much awesome

I just have to brag about my awesome find yesterday. Half Price Books is one of my favorite places to spend my time, and yesterday I stumbled across something amazing.

Yeah, that's right. Every single episode of Star Trek the Original Series on VHS tape. So amazing. And yet I have to wonder, does anyone else out there still have and regularly use a VCR?

And for added awesome for the day, here's a picture of Panic laying in my guitar case. Yes, he does this of his own accord. And well, why not? It is perfectly dog-shaped. Seems reasonable.

Still have one. I wouldn't say I use it regularly, but I probably use it as much as my DVD player.

A VCR! Whoa, you have one that actually works? Incredible.

You should consider creating a line of guitar dog crates that are safe for air travel.

Well, we all knew that Panic rocks, he's just confirming this belief.

Whoa. Awesome overload.

I was quite sad when my VCR broke. I used it to record shows and I refuse to buy Tivo. =/

So sad! I don't know what I would do without mine, but it is pretty old so I'm worried!

Wait until Summer and I will bet I will have a bunch of DVDs you would like including Star Trek and Dr. Who.

Seriously? Star Trek and Doctor Who are my absolute favorites!

Yes, I am slowly clearing out S2BX junk and I do not care about vids or those series. There are other series but I know those two are part of the lot.

All I watch are VHS. But then I don't have television, I just use it as a monitor. I grew up that way, so I don't really miss it.

BTW, you can find VHS machines regularly at Goodwill or any second hand shop. All tested and ready to go. Same with tapes. I have over 200 videos, most all of them second hand and in fine condition.

Oh man, love watching the old Star Treks! Still have a VCR but haven't used it in a very long time.
