My old email account was constantly getting hacked so I deleted it, without thinking about how it was attached to my Flickr account. Then my Flickr account was poof, gone. And they tell me there is no way to verify that I was the owner of that account and that all my photos are "unrecoverable."

Well that really sucks.

whaaa??? I think I get what you're saying tho, you didn't have an aux e-mail account, so they can't send you a new password link, etc. Right?

Send them an e-mail, or figure out how to call them. I bet they'll help you. I mean, why not? it's not like they're making cash off your old pics. worth a try no?

It was only through a long email correspondance that they told me this info. They were helpful and responsive but basically told me they couldn't do anything.

How about trying to restore the e-mail account? Once the e-mail account is restored maybe you could go from there. Contact the provider and tell them it was a mistake the the account was closed. Worth a shot.
