Kinetic Soft Sculpture

My latest sculpture project was a sewn "body extension". This is mine. 

I think it's pretty hilarious. My whole class came up with some pretty awesome (and bizarre) things. I felt like we should be in some sort of bizarre parade. I love college.

These guys were my inspiration, they did dinosaur puppetry for the Radiolab show and I fell in love.

Man, puppetry has come such a VERY long way since the days of Sesame Street. Amazing.
